Tim Kelly’s journey in the music industries encompassed playing in punk bands to senior roles at independent (One Little Indian, Rough Trade, Inertia) and major (Universal, Sony) record labels. He is currently researching the global consolidation of recorded music.

Tim will be presenting his analysis of the Australian charts and recorded music revenues 2000-2023, which counter notions glocalisation and internationalisation of the music economy in Australia revealing challenges and opportunities for the independent market.

This event is FREE and open to all AIR Label and Distributor Members as well as any label representatives from NSW. Lunch and refreshments will be served for attendees.
